I agree with you. I had a PCjr in college and everyone in the dorm was jealous that I could relax on my bunk and type and play games with the wireless keyboard.

They've been in the US for a long time, too. I bought a 'cushion close' seat at Lowe's three years ago for $19.99. It wasn't a Kohler, either. Just some off-brand.

"reins" not "Reigns". This is a common metaphorical mistake these days and should be stamped out.

I can't believe it was "on the bubble". Seriously, what were they thinking they could put in its timeslot that would do better?

"the other half were required to stay away for twenty-four straight hours"

I'm pretty pleased with the battery life in the Nook Color. Indoors, you can turn the brightness down to minimum and it seems to last forever (more than 8 hours). If anyone uses a reader for more than 8 hours a day, I'll be very surprised.

The problem with that is if you don't put the apps on there, the world will not rest until they've hacked the device to run apps. Amazon creating their appstore is making it kind of pointless to root the device, and also getting a cut of the app sales.

A Hongkey, specifically.

Therefore, your argument is irrelevant. :)

That's my guess. I'd say it's probably about 10 ft in diameter as well. The pic is (poorly done) forced perspective.

The insides of the fruit in that picture strongly resemble Durian. I wonder if Durian genes were used in this bioengineered fruit?

I think they've already written the reactors off. Pouring seawater in them pretty much guarantees they'll be useless for future use.

There's a lot of violence and other 'adult' things that happen to children in the books. I can't see HBO allowing that on the screen. I doubt they'll have Tyrion be as disfigured as he becomes in the book, either.

Since Jedi are recruited at a very young age and removed from their parents, the Vulcan logic and emotion-repressing education would not be present in the child, making the experiment useless. What makes Vulcans famous is not something they are born with.

Interesting that the author refers to the American Revolution as "War of Independence" but refers to the American Civil War as "Civil War". Usually, the latter is referred to as something different, like "War Between the States". I've never seen the Revolutionary War called something different.

Misleading headline, and furthermore, grammatically wrong. Discovery will have spent more than a year in space. Not "Discovery will be in space for almost an entire year". I have to know if the trend of misleading headlines, one-paragraph articles, paraphrasing of other sites' articles, etc. is intentional or not. If

All the plot points they have left to tie up in a short number of episodes, and they're still making one-off spoofs of popular movies. They're going to end up with 2 shows left and be saying "Shit, we've got to get him into the suit, learn to fly, fight Darkseid, bring Lex back, explain how Jimmy Olsen isn't dead, get
