Another good thing about the Northrop design - Terrorists can't even get near the cockpit.

In the Northrop design, the left-hand fuselage is the kid-free section.

Lurking Grues?

It's probably Garmin announcing they'll have a Chewbacca voice for their GPS...

Holy crap. I have issue #1 of the original of this series. I wonder what kind of shape it's in and what it's worth these days?

This is the 'droid I was looking for. So I got it. And rooted it. No negatives at all. It'll be even better once it gets Froyo.

@verspasian: If all you want is an e-reader, I can see the knock on the weight. As an Android tablet, however, it's the lightest one out there.

@jooom: Hell, I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.

@SupaChupacabra: I think Niven eventually explained their 'cowardice' as having no connection to the actual emotion of fear, just a defense mechanism.

@jpaugh: It's more complicated than that, as you probably guessed. The BP gas stations are not actually owned by BP. It's the same reason that Citgo stations are still in business. The stations are owned by regular people who would be harmed by a boycott, and the oil company wouldn't be touched.

We talked about this possibility in Anatomy and Physiology class back in 1990. Damn but science is slow.

There is nothing that can 'tide me over' until next October, waiting for The Walking Dead to resume.

@Caturday Yet?: Ahh, the answer is disappointing. The teacher laughed it off, patted me on the head, and that was the end of it. It was homework, not a test, so no big deal

@Caturday Yet?: Reminds me of a word problem I had on a test in math class back in 4th grade. It was about buying so many cans of dog food, etc, etc, and then it asked how much the dog eats in x days. I pleaded insufficient data.
