@killomaster: Exactly. Just a way for Apple to sell proprietary headphones.

@Antubis: It's square and doesn't have a keyboard. I'm surprised Apple hasn't sued their pants off yet.

A UI suggestion for Giz:

@DefineStatutory: Exactly - when you are exercising or otherwise multitasking while listening to music, the ambient sounds of the world will interfere with the fidelity of the music to the point where a $100 or a $10 pair of earbuds won't make a bit of difference. If you want total sound isolation, by all means spend

Why would I want to spend $100 on something that's going to break or be lost in a couple of months anyway? I wear earbuds to the gym and to mow the lawn. Hi-fidelity isn't really a big deal with a portable MP3 player.

That's funny. HTC had stores in malls in Malaysia when I was there this summer. Is this referring to brick-and-mortar stores being a new thing for HTC?

I have given rice cookers as gifts to high-school graduates.

@Bs Baldwin: Pretty much anything with VAIO on the side.

@amygdala: That right there was worth the price of admission. Kevin Smith is one funny guy.
