IMHO, they are completely different beasts. While they do share some similarities, Keep is first and foremost a note-taking app. Yes, it has date and location-triggered reminders, and now yes, you can share your bookmarks across devices, but beyond that, they really serve different purposes.

Why no plain text clipping?

That’s gonna be one expensive day!

Nope. It doesn’t make me want to move from Pocket. The two reasons I prefer Pocket is 1. having the text-optimized version of an article, and 2. having offline access to the text-optimized version of an article. Oh, and did I mention the text-optimized version?

IANLA, but it seems logical that if you click through an EULA that has a disclaimer, or if Google displays a disclaimer, then they would be off the hook. My Garmin GPS has had this feature for several years, and I seriously doubt that they have ANY liability when it comes to anything that they display on their screen.

Love the app, but I have one problem with it: The screen no longer stays on while navigating. I have Google maps set to keep the screen on, but since installing Velociraptor, the screen now shuts off according to how I have it set in System Settings.

I’d say Merriam Webster’s #2 definition is very appropriate:

To me, the real problem is not people showering or bathing infrequently, but over-using colognes and perfumes to “make themselves smell better”. For people with fragrance allergies, it’s very offensive.

Obviously, we are all raised under different conditions, so “growing up” experiences will widely differ. I was raised in a household where my brothers and I were held accountable for chores and overall helping around the house. Being one who loved knowing how things worked, my parents leveraged that to educate me on

I guess it’s just a matter of perspective. An Internet connection is absolutely required for streaming, and in our case, we already had an Internet connection, so it wasn’t an extra expense when considering cutting the cord. The way we saw it, regardless of how we receive entertainment content, we’ll still have an

I do see your point. Just don’t fall into the trap that so many do of including Internet access in the cost of cord cutting, unless you really didn’t have it with cable or satellite. For me and most cord cutters, the cost of Internet access was simply something that got carried over, so it’s not an extra expense.

Sorry, but the savings can be HUGE

Why limit it to the 20's?

Kinda cool. I used to use Fireworks for creating simple Web site logos. I’m definitely no graphics designer, but Fireworks just seemed to have the tools I needed. This appears to have enough to do what I used Fireworks for.

#1 is NOT always reliable

You sir, are a freak...and I commend you for it! ;-)

As a workaround, I use the “Smart AppLock” app to provide app-specific locking and screen rotation control.

Dumbing us down?

Imagine if this much time and energy was put into solving real problems....

This is a thing?
