The rest you can have some suspension of disbelief but Molly was absolutely terrible last season. She was impossible to like. I’m happy they course corrected this season.

I don’t think that’s it. A couple years ago, she was put on a pedestal for a certain kind of guy because she said she only likes to dress sexy for her husband. Those are the kind of men where admitting you would like just a little bit of male attention would be frowned upon.

Ihaven’t read any think pieces but I read a bunch of reviews and the reviews were glowing. It also broke box office records for original horror movies. And it’s in the top 5 highest grossing horror films of all time. So, I definitely think that for the average (white) person they connected with it on some level.
