At a track day, I can bring my R6 down from well over 100 mph for T1 as quick as the front tire will handle. I know what you mean though. Some old guy out there that only remembers front drum brakes probably thinks different.

Anyone that tells you to use 4 fingers when braking doesn’t actually ride motorcycles. Two fingers should be enough to stoppie a competent bike, much less stop you safely.
Yes, lets report potential future milestones as ‘News’.

From my experiences, Lambo people are just generally more outgoing, friendly, fun people than Ferrari, Mclaren, etc. crowds. It’s not always the case, but mostly it is.
“You buy a Ferrari when you want to be somebody. You buy a Lamborghini when you are somebody.” - Frank Sinatra
TIL...
Lamborghini is somewhat unique in that the company acknowledges that their cars are essentially very expensive toys that appeal to the 12 year old in all of us. That’s why I love them.
This is completely pointless. Part of my family runs a big greenhouse business in Maine, and they have had a bunch of vans, which I have borrowed on numerous occasions when things needed to be moved. Even the ‘90s version of these with whatever wheezy V8 was standard at the time would basically smoke the tires for as…
Because it happens every time. Every time a cars is on sale outside of the US, they take the price including taxes, convert this to $ and complain it's expensive compared to a price without tax. And every time people correct this in the comments. The next time the cycle continues. I won't go as far as calling it…
I’m not sure I have $40k to drop on a hatchback
If it is priced right, this will absolutely work in Europe. You don't have to live in a city centre to consider this either, the range is over 300 km.
It’s amazing how cool a circuit can be when Hermann Tilke isn’t involved. I wish F1 ran more courses like Zandvoort and fewer like Sochi.
It’s called “capitalism.” It’s a free-market, and OP absolutely has the right to shop for a better deal...in fact, they’d be stupid not to. The dealer’s wasting their own time by making the price negotiable in the first place; if they were really concerned about it, they’d offer a lower, no-haggle, out-the-door price…
It’s not just about the HP; obviously when and how that power is delivered makes a difference, since the new car is apparently 0.2 seconds faster to 60. The torque of the new engine seems to have gone from 308 Nm to 400 Nm.
An interesting concept there, reliability vs. quality. That was brought up somewhere recently, I can’t recall if it was a conversation on the Smoking Tire or whether it was something Doug or Hoovie was talking about. But I hadn’t ever really considered that there was a difference between reliability and quality, or…
For clarification I didn’t say “a LR” I said this new defender, specifically. Consumer Reports lists the Wrangler as the 3rd least reliable vehicle, only ahead of the Camaro & Colorado. Both brands are abysmal. My logic is that LR has spent more money on the Defender rollout than any in their history [citation…
