Not quite free, it was £30 per stage to spectate (if you got spotted by the people on the entrance to the stages)

Ah, so you made it up to the dam? Me and some friends didn’t make it that far as we only got there late (11am) and the weather looked and felt so ominous that walking any more than half an hour felt like madness.
Still, with scant amount of cover (some small trees barely counted) on the top of a mountain being blown…
Don’t worry, you’ll be right back on track soon enough.
I’d definitely be up for it, though I don’t fancy bunk sharing with a bunch of chemicals as it is on the current train.
Maybe even just “excessivism”
A few options:
Post Bangle - where cars have bizarre crease lines wherever, because reasons.
Oversculpturing - because we need to fit in a character line over here, because 17 on one panel isn’t enough.
Honestly I know what you’re getting at, they are popular in Europe, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re actually good.
I agree with Flavien, there’s not much kudos, verve or goodwill with the Renault brand outside their RS division. Their styling is modern but polarising, not massively distinctive or…
Coming at it as a European brand agnostic (mostly). It’s a manufacturer that now sells it self on affordability and safety with it’s basic model line up. Not something that a vast majority of us Jalops care about all that much. I’m with you, none of their core products are all that innovative or market leading enough…
Quite right... It could be worse, we could say something truly confusing like “it’s the dog’s bollocks” for good “it’s bollocks” for bad.
We certainly appreciate a good product and tbh I’m happy we’re finally getting some of the best that the US has to offer rather than crappy half measures.
Honestly, it might have been technically “available” for 12 months but actual cars on lots or in the country has been insanely low. I think they’re only just starting to ship them over in numbers now. I’ve seen 3 out and about on the road in the last week which is certainly positive.
For the record, I very much hope to…
Never really paid much attention to them (must’ve been the vaporware article...) but it has to be said, that is seriously impressive!
Having driven an Eaton Fuller daily for 6 months, it becomes second nature... A weird, backwards and brain melting learning curve but once learnt, makes perfect sense.
Though I still preferred the Scania’s split gearing, or MAN’s semi-auto clutch.
The joys of a poor exchange rate... Still, I wouldn’t say no, though as the factory is essentially on my doorstep it’s be pretty bad if I didn’t.
Heal fast buddy, after a vaguely similar accident (low speed, car turning in front of me and going down before hitting the car) I know how much it can actually hurt. Also, like your good self I wasn’t wearing moto-denim, just some snowboard pants over some regular jeans (it was cold). I’d say my Sidi’s saved my feet…
I still don’t quite understand how Spa manages to keep it all together with it’s F1 race but Silverstone has been threatened since the 90's.
I mean, even it’s tickets for the race day are far cheaper than Silverstone’s day tickets. How do they do what Silverstone can’t?
Trouble is, there isn’t much money in being a venue without such a “big draw”. Heck, there isn’t much money in being a racetrack at all.
Most of the tracks in the UK recently have been fighting to stay alive at all (Mallory Park, Donington and obviously Silverstone).
It would create an awful lot more ill feeling from…
After having a lovely blue Dolly Sprint in the workshop as a trainee engineer, I love them, but they are awful*
*Lazy British comedy remark to prove my heritage.
I know, it is to garner attention but surely you don’t have to garner that much attention when you’re Bentley.
The blue is every bit as subtle as the yellow isn’t which is odd for something that really isn’t all that “pretty”. More of a French Riviera car colour which suits the older Bentley aesthetic better. I guess…
