I guess if the quality is up to scratch then it shouldn’t matter whether a Buick is built in China, the US or Europe... Though obviously it’s bad for US manufacturing if they’re not all built in the US but it seems a lot of the line-up is already rebadged Euro GM stuff.
Also with the main market for the brand itself…
The joys of the European fuel prices... Always tempers my fun in my Fiesta ST when UK pump prices are £1.16 per litre (nearly $7 per gal). Still, well worth it!
See you’d think that, the old dear has some BBS on at the moment with as little sidewall as possible. That said, she’ll be on much more suitable rubber come road-trip time!
Those pictures are exactly why I want to do it, it’s simply stunning! Congrats on the awesome taste by the way, sounds like a perfect road trip route!
Yeah, quite lucky that there’s an awesome “Arctic Highway” in Norway that seems to be paved all the way along the Atlantic coastline. It will be done...
See that’s not bad going and props for the LeSabre! I would say you’re filling me with confidence but I’ve managed to shred tyres on a perfectly good piece of tarmac…
I have always had a dream to do this in my 89 Passat wagon from the UK to wherever I could get to by paved road. The dream is still real but at least 2 years away (with a test run to the arctic circle as a warm up in between).
I am now insanely jelous but at the same time so very happy that my favourite site is doing…
See I really wasn’t sure about the coupe’s looks. The sedan looks “fine”, the wagon looks absolutely brilliant in AMG line trim but the coupe just looked a little bit anaemic.
I agree, I don’t think it dilutes the “Brand” or anything, I don’t care that Ducati make a big cruiser as long as it’s good enough and suits their style.
It does make sense to make the big bird “optionally manned” but how the hell will a drone U2 pilot land... I mean the dragon is notoriously hard to land at the best of times, so any lag in controls would be a nightmare!
Or am I overthinking that side...
Though it has to be said, there are so many new buildings in certain areas (around the Bundestag) that it makes it painfully obvious how many places were utterly ruined.
Definitely one of the handiest things to navigate by (as Berlin is sooooo flat!).
Tesla being a benchmark for established car brands to aim for is definitely a good thing. Hopefully this drive for innovation in a market that had previously seen no-hopers from manufacturers that should’ve known better will give way more positive results... Especially for those of us who enjoy good cars no matter…
Having been to Alexanderplatz this year it’s really really bizarre knowing how different it was... The odd pieces of the wall dotted around and the big grassy gash across the city just seems so odd in a modern built up Berlin
That’s a bit steep!
Honestly, whilst I agree with everyone else in this thread with some utterly beautiful, weird and gorgeously out-there suggestions... We need a core of practicality and fun as a “breeder”.
We all want the fastest, the most leftfield, the most fun, the most iconic cars in the mix. But save a spot or two for these. Then…
Also for the record, NP, because 60% of the time, it works all the time....
So they painted up a Murena with Bagheera on the hood?
Either it’s expert level trolling or.... Yeah I got nothing.
The ownership stone. I’d never EVER put it in a car I loved though.
