Having received a Passat last year as a rental... Good riddance. It was the worst sedan I’ve driven in a very long time. Not surprised the Malibu outsold it at all. Much nicer place to be.

The Land Cruiser is 1. Boring to drive (slow, handles poorly) 2. Incredibly inefficient 3. Expensive to fix 4. Not that great off-road due to size 5. But incredibly comfortable and reliable powertrain/drivetrain-wise.

If it is just surface rust, that’s basically rust free. It’s not really rusty until there are holes.
