It baffles me that merely owning a classic car invites disrespect here; FWIW, I’d much rather look at a ‘55 Montego than about anything coming from MB today.

I love that my gearstick keeps making its rounds on the internet!

Now playing

Bill Boudreau would like to have a word about that!

Why? It sounds like a cool combination that was never available to the public. RPO ZR-1 was about as extensive as an options package gets, but one can conceivably do exactly what GM did themselves using a surplus LT-5 crate motor, bellhousing, ZR-1 wheels and fenders, etc.

The C4 “breadbox” was actually designed to hold an airbag. At the time of C4 Corvette’s development, Congress was considering mandatory pass. air-bag legislation. However, the Reagan administration had a different idea and the airbag exterior ended up becoming an empty, hard-rubber protrusion as it was already

k.

While it may not be the soundest concept, I’d at least like the company to survive long enough for the vehicle to be produced and get into the hands of those who want them. A lot of resources have gone into this project, thousands of working people have considerable money at stake, and many people would be served

I fail to see what gratification would be derived from the failure of something that would be more helpful functioning than not. Different strokes, I guess...

I believe the equivalent turn of phrase is loosely translated “hold my Southeast Asian volunteer homemaker.”

I wouldn’t refute that the Camaro is a better overall performer. I was really assuming that we were talking about straight-line speed while on the topic of power figures. While a Supra and track package Camaro accomplish very different things, the effect of time is certainly noticeable.

I hate to be pedantic, but a V6 Camaro couldn’t spank a MkIV Supra Turbo with someone’s elderly grandmother behind the wheel. Even then, there’s more to cars than the numbers. The Corrado is just a middling, unusual vehicle that catches people’s attention; conversely, the M235i is a very competent car that tends not

But the 31-year-older plastic fantastic has a total of seven lb-ft over the this GT3! As you probably know, seven is the smugness threshold in all things. Like 7 mph, the speed at which the Corvette still has the GT3... by an inch.

Not a 5000QV. It’s a 180-mph car that gets to 60 in under 5 seconds.

Acceptance is the first step! And trademarking is never a bad idea, either.

That’s an L88; it is stock, and an absolute monster.

The Prius has been around since before the 2000 election.

Less Fusion-esque, but more lacking in definition than the ‘15+ (which itself had a similar issue compared to the late S197). At least the design is a bit more distinctive; it evokes the early SN95 a bit IMO due to rounder features.

Burning a tarnished Roadmaster is kind of like throwing rocks at an injured bald eagle, no?

The thing is that every 335i I’ve seen has just one tailpipe that creates any visible emissions. Toyota made a point of going with single exhaust on the Mk IV Supra for functionality, and this is a step backwards if the car packs an inline 6. Still nothing to get worked up over, especially if the car packs the correct

Oh, the adjustable shocks! Forgot about those. He wasn’t exaggerating, they’re definitely expensive; most people replace the FX3 shocks with regular ones because of cost. As for the antenna, I’ve read on forums that the difficulty of replacement isn’t as bad as people say it is- I have no firsthand experience, though.
