Some certainly hold up better than others, but I think you can find more than a few to enjoy anew. Pigeon Man was still solid for me, among others.

I disagree as well; for me, this show has actually aged better than just about any other "kid's" show from the time period. Some of the goofier stuff may stand out a bit, but the reality, and sadness, at the heart of the show tends to play even better now.
Because he was a pretentious asshole.
Michael Chabon contributes the introduction, too, just to pile on to the "Reasons I Want This" list.
Road to Perdition is the best Hanks film, and I'll hear no contradiction.
Wow, no mention of previous AV Club favorite the Punch Brothers being on this soundtrack as well? Harsh. And they took 3rd place in the AV Undercover contest no less!
He also directed The National as part of that VEVO/AMEX series in 2010.
I came on here to find this, and to mention that they were sent to Chris Pine (her boyfriend at the time) and though I haven't gone back to check, wasn't the character who leaked the pics (and subsequently took the beating from Sloan) named Chris? With the actor bearing a passing resemblance to Pine as well?
How is this even a rough draft? Was the author forced to use a faulty predictive texting service?
They discontinued the grading awhile ago. And there have been a few A+ grades. The West Wing's "Two Cathedrals" being the first one that springs to mind.
Dave Matthews Band basically dedicates an entire album to a dead bandmate. But my favorite song eulogizing a fellow musician, even though it doesn't strictly qualify for this Inventory, is "Late" by Ben Folds, about Eliot Smith. Beautiful and surprisingly personal.
That's an understandable position from your father, and a good line.
Growing up in middle-class Nowhere, Indiana, I feel confident in saying they get a lot right. However, I have zero interest in watching the show, as I've already lived enough of it.
Nice of Morning Joe to reinforce how good David Letterman is at his job.
Or, Jess could get things together on his own. Lorelai herself was living in a shed with a kid when she was Jess's age. Just because Rory is farther along now doesn't mean Jess can't catch up. Especially considering his background, etc, etc.
The security in Don/Megan's building has also been exposed as suspect; if an elderly black lady could sneak up, who knows what else could happen.
Justified should be nominated for Best Drama series, but you have to love any awards show that features Archer competing against Phineas and Ferb.
Speaking of multi-camera sitcoms doing drama (plus an interloper!) let's hope one of this series is The Fresh Prince with Will's dad.
Plus, contacting the boy, if he was acting without malice in that scenario, would be very unfair to him. To be retroactively accused of sexual assault would probably not be the best news to receive in a Facebook message. Even if he then gave her the apology she wanted, potentially giving her closure, how is he…
I don't love Fireproof either, but it's under 3 minutes, so it's hard to get too worked up about it. Works more as a palate cleanser, and it serves its purpose. The last three songs are 5:01, 4:36, and 4:13, so maybe that's why I'm not as in love with them yet.
