In fairness, the 4x100 meter relay that the Americans won 4 years ago was probably the standout moment of those Olympics, and certainly worth revisiting.  It was also shown live, if I recall correctly.  Which had to kill NBC.  "Can't we tape delay today's primetime and show it tomorrow night?"-Dick Ebersol, somewhere,
