This was a great story.

Society is fucked, yo. We've reached a point where white people are so afraid of black people, that when one of them reaches for a mobile phone, the automatic assumption is that they're reaching for a gun and the only possible way to escape with your life is to shoot them before they can shoot you. Even if they're

I mean.

He saved his QUALITY of life from lacking all the nice things his inevitable Kickstarter will afford him.

The time it took for him to draw his weapon could have been equally spent stepping on the accelerator. He chose to shoot instead.

“I’m glad to be alive. I saved my life that night.”

“Any police officer especially would have reacted in the exact same way I reacted”

I can’t believe no one has posted this yet

Mini Falcor.

This is a human

Was coming to comment about the “woman” thing - but I disagree with your other point. Her Mother is well within her rights to take her and leave no trace - she isn’t beholden to anyone and the Father is deceased.

From the story above, there doesn’t seem there was anything illegal done — it’s not a crime to go on vacation and turn off your phone and not log into Facebook, and Costello isn’t the one who called authorities, or gave anyone any false information — so not sure why your surprised that no charges are being filed.

Isn’t Coachella like a joke now? For that matter, isn’t Kanye a joke now?

It drives me crazy when I go to shows at everyone has their phones/cameras out taking video/pictures. Yeah, it’s nice to have that to look back on the show on, but I really do think it takes you out of the moment. It’s much better if you are just present and enjoy the show while it’s on. You’ll remember how awesome it

NO FUCKING WAY THAT ONE OF THE BEST RAPPERS OF OUR TIME KILLED IT.

“Musician”.

Everything I have to say about this sounds grouchy and old, but...does everyone at a concert film the entire thing? You can see a dozen cameras in the video, 13 if you count the one who posted the video. Just watch the damn show.

This has nothing to do with whether she “enjoyed” it, but whether she had the faculties/decision making ability to consent at all. The husband was told by the staff that she could no longer consent to sex, which he agreed to abide by. The definition of consent is NOT the absence of screaming/a struggle.

It drives me bonkers when people say we could never do what this or that country does here in the the US because size, different cultures, etc., forgetting that we have these smaller units of government, called states, counties, and cities that could implement some of these ideas with the approval and force of the
