Nice looking knockoff, and the engine swap is a genuinely good thing. Still, it’s a Fiero. $23K for a Fiero is about 13K too high for the nicest one you could find with the drivetrain swap already done. CP.

Hey, the Roadmaster can be a really badass sleeper even before you juice up the LT1. But you don’t enhance its sleeperness by putting a custom paint job and rubber-band tires and flames on it. If this car looked factory, it’d be a NP.
Meh. For $1500, dropping the drivetrain back in it is worth the effort. But once you’re done, what you have is an ooooogleyfied Roadmaster. CP.
Not the car for me. I prefer my sports cars with a bit more refinement. But for those who like this kind of car, it seems like a decent deal. NP.
Yeah, the toy hauler does make a difference if you have toys to schlep around. But yeah, that thing’s a monster. I’m truly surprised you manage 13 MPG towing it.
That’s what the dinghy (in the RV world, that’s the car you tow behind the motorhome) is for.
Merciful $DEITY. That thing’s huge.
Like me. I love my diesel M-class and am genuinely sad that it’ll be the last one Mercedes will sell me. Torquey and economical. What’s not to like?
Diesel? Stick? Loaded to the gills? Low miles? Manufacturer warranty? Perfect condition? Yes please. NP.
There’s nothing refreshing about skunky beer, and Corona defines skunky.
Farts don’t get caught in spandex. Ask me how I know.
no kidding! The Granada looked not at all like the then-current W114/5 Mercedes sedans.
My second car was a 1975 Granada four-door that I got in 1977 with 50K on the clock. It had the 250 CID straight six with a slushbox, and had a hard time getting out of its own way. This one at least shouldn’t have that problem once you give the 302 a good working over. As for the rest of the car...meh. Still, it’s…
Car’s in good shape with nothing to complain about. High-performance version with a stick. What’s not to like? NP.
Pull the engine, ECU, wiring harness, etc. too. That way you can rebuild it on a stand and drop it and the transmission in as one unit and it’s already set up.
That angle makes it look like a Pacer stretched to add two more doors.
And, as I commented elsewhere, you can buy comparable Mercedes diesels all day long for under $30K. If the market is people willing to pay 40% more for the Porsche nameplate, I guess is it in line with the market...but if you look at the market for comparable vehicles, it’s CP.
You can buy fully loaded M-class 2015 Mercedes diesels with similar mileage all day long for under $30K. I paid $24K for mine, though admittedly it was a low-end version without a lot of the fancy options. $43K for a comparable Porsche? CP.
If you’ve got the kind of money you need to have a major car collection, then this is a nice price for the car. I halfway expect Jay Leno to wind up with it. The car’s probably worth the money for the rarity alone -how many ‘83 Panteras are there in the US, anyway? I bet you can count them on your fingers and have…
Wonder what he’d think of Clint Eastwood in The Rookie and the SL500...
