Jakes/Jacobs stick together.
I wasn’t commenting on it’s performance, I was just saying how the hype train is getting tiresome.
I have been thinking of renting that space out.
I read this as the car was a stretch purchase, they can no longer afford, and he wants to make sure nobody effs it up before he can sell it. Actually makes me feel a bit bad for the guy.
Haha. Indeed. There’s some classic digital displays I think are timeless, in my opinion. Too much of “timeless” = “our culture worships old shit for the sake of being old a bit too much”.
Billionaire display to go with your billionaire doors.
A full size car with a midsize interior.
Definitely a 777. You can tell because Airbus airplanes are ugly. And also, the reasons that Jcarr stated. This is the aircraft in the top photo (SU-GDO). Note the letters on the front gear door.
Have you ever owned a Ford? Trust me, shit’s going bad on the Ford at least as frequently as the VW.
Corvettes do get excellent gas mileage for V8 sports cars, no doubt. Of course, a higher price tag, no back seat, a more aerodynamic profile and lighter more expensive materials will usually do that. Ford does need to give the Mustang a bit of a diet on the next generation redesign, though. I love my car, but in 2016…
I remember on a review of the EB Mustang on MT or R&T or something, there was this one guy in the comments section who kept comparing the Accord V6's acceleration time to the EB Mustang, trying to make a point about how the Accord was so much better. As if anyone would be cross-shopping those two cars. IIRC, he wasn’t…
Good for you. If I see one more person make a comment on a car magazine website comparing a Mustang and an Accord I might shoot myself.
I own one. It definitely doesn’t scream at highway speeds. Two overdrive gears and the engine has no trouble accelerating in either one at the appropriate speed. I will admit the fuel economy hasn’t been quite what I had hoped for, but the car is fun and I’ve been giving it more go pedal than I usually do in other…
TFW 4speed transmission runs at 3200rpm to go 65mph. :/
Maybe your GTI only has those ten horsepower when the ECU senses it’s been hooked to a dyno.
Was just going to say the same thing - I’ve seen lots of airplanes in testing with these shapes on them. Nothing really new here... I don’t see why making the shapes using a 3D printer is new or patent-able.
Am I the only one who appreciates these cars for their engineering, speed, etc, but thinks they’re absolutely hideous? The interior especially. It get that its very fancy and well made and all that, but it just looks horrible and gaudy to my eye.
Not sure where my first comment went to... so I will post this one more time: The AMA says hold off on registering for now. This is an ongoing discussion with the FAA.
