I've driven a S2000 and it's certainly not a bad car but, to compare it to a C6 is comical. If you actually go out and drive a C5 or C6 you'll understand. The Corvette is way more car for the hard-earned dollar.

Flat plane crank. 5.2 liters. At least 500 horsepower and 400 pound feet of torque. Six speed manual transmission. Magnetic ride. Independent suspension. Huge brakes. Whoever said we're in the dark ages of cars needs to eat all of their words.

There's a very good reason most aircraft don't have canards; they reduce the effective angle of attack over the main wing, reducing lift.
