My mother has owned 2 A5s, a 2013 and a 2018, in the time that I have owned my Mustangs. I would argue that the Mustang is not far off the Audi in premium trim. There are some areas that could be better, but considering the difference in price the mustang is far from “cheap” feeling.

What about it feels cheap? I’ve owned two now, they’re nice cars. Everyone that rides in mine agrees

The new Mustang doesn’t feel cheap, especially if you get a premium.

That’s pretty smart, but I can’t imagine how much of a pain it would be for the user to program “quiet zones” as opposed to quiet times. Perhaps if there was an app or web interface to program it from outside of the car.

They can be pretty damn loud even if you aren’t hammering on it.

The 10 speed probably will. The aero is not very different.

It won’t.

I usually got 23 combined, probably 70/30 city/highway. It got as much as 30-33 mpg pure highway.

Now you can have a half empty sweep and know there’s pixels there not being turned on!

It’s not a worry or an insecurity, it’s just part of the experience.

Because this is a very early prototype/proof of concept so why would all this extra stuff be done?

Have fun with that.

Most enthusiast EB owners tune them, so it’s worth considering.

I get it. People used to compare the GT to the 370 even though lately it doesn’t compare. I’m just surprised anyone even talks about the 370Z, so I was caught off guard.

Uh...last time I checked the 370Z base MSRP was $30k, for which you get like 330 hp. It’s hardly competition for the GT, more like the EB which can be had for less than a 370Z.

As a former EB Mustang owner, good luck convincing everyone else of that.

No one reading Jalopnik will buy the 10 speed auto

Not yet. Order guides show a “PP Level 2" that some people are speculating is a Bullitt or Mach 1, available late this year.

Was there ever 370Z vs GT talk? The GT is better in every possible way regardless of price.

Thank goodness. I think the new wing looks terrible.
