Ehhhhhh maybe buyers with more money, more debt, and/or more compensation issues. The EB is still a pretty high performance car, I’m simply stating that your argument that a buyer would NEED the PP to compare to a BRZ is a bit misguided

It makes a difference but, and I quote, not THAT much of a difference. Besides, you’re talking about a totally different platform.
You can get GT brake takeoffs for less than $200, and the non-PP brakes are still quite good. The wheels are worthwhile, yes, but if you live anywhere that gets winter you’re probably going to want a winter set so you might pick up wheels + tires anyways.
Me
I think the Mustang looks quite a bit better than the BRZ, but otherwise yeah. The FRS/BRZ are good cars but I think they’re priced about $5-6k more than they’re worth.
Toyota and Subaru aren’t selling a whole lot. I think the Mustang is selling in a significantly higher number
I drove an auto one before I drove the manual one I ultimately bought. The manual is so much better, and it’s a great feeling transmission
I mean, the EB is great if you buy it for its cheaper price and spend a little bit of money improving it.
How big is the new luxury enthusiast car market? Not very.
Depends on how you’re driving.
Trust me, the performance pack doesn’t make that much of a difference. If you happen to land in a base one anyways you could always upgrade to better suspension than the PP for less than the PP option.
Eh, the performance pack doesn’t make THAT much of a difference to be totally necessary.
I actually have that car. Ecoboost premium, 201A or whatever the better audio package is, no performance pack.
I really just meant in the straight line speed aspect. To say “for $5k you have an EB that can eat stock GTs” is silly. For less than that I can LS swap a shopping cart and leave stock GTs in my dust.
I was trying to word it differently than I did...I don’t think the GT is better because it’s a V8. I don’t even really mean to say it’s better, it’s just different.
I wish people would stop comparing tuned EBs to stock GTs. For “an ecoboost + $5k” you could just get a GT.
Because a GT350R and a GT350 are the same thing evidently.
Even if those prices aren’t real, the EB is a heck of a value. I wouldn’t even call it a “value”, it’s just a great car. Stock it’s pretty good, but with the Ford tune and a decent catback exhaust it sounds decent and goes like hell for similar money to a BRZ/86.
I prefer wired headphones because charging headphones is silly.
But you get the information slightly off to the side still. It’s not like you need anything other than a speedometer in an all electric car, and a central speedometer was never a big issue in any of the cars that have featured it in the past.
