Lol, you must be new here on EARTH. People are generally wildly inconsiderate. They smoke in hotels, on sidewalks, in doorways, essentially anywhere it’s prohibited. Not everyone, obviously, but given the sheer number of people - you will witness all of these things.

$7k is honestly dead nuts on for the miles and what looks to be a vehicle in great shape, imo.

90s. Without a doubt. Started bad, just got worse.

Yea, I wonder if leaks are more pertaining to the next gen switch. Why would they feel pressure to upgrade the existing model? It’s selling like crazy. Do I want one? Hell yes, but that doesn’t mean it makes business sense for Nintendo.

I’ve seen so many people *confidently* doing exercises wrong with a *purpose* that I’ve sworn off any correction at all unless the person looks honestly confused.

I mean really, they could have just used the tried and true Monster Hunter formula for weapons - hunting increasingly (gated) difficult and powerful monsters that drop parts for you to upgrade and weapon sharpness. There’s so much flexibility with that formula and it’s addictive and enjoyable for a lot of people

exactly, and have durable weapons out-damage the upgradeable permanent weapons until right near or even into endgame. That’s a great way to go about it imo. Plus you get new quests for upgrading weapons (you could heroic relics of each weapon type). That would be FANTASTIC.

Tend to agree. I’d much prefer a proficiency system that enhanced durability/damage/elements etc. It’s cute and encourages variety, but you should be able to opt out of it in late/end game. Recharge/repair/cooldown would be fine too. It’s not a game breaker for me, but I didn’t enjoy it and thought it could be done

I’m separated too, I think I’m way underwater on the trade but it’s not drivable.

First panicked evasive maneuver will drop the driver right back into their decades long trained brain to treat it like a wheel, they will miss their grip on the flat edge and ram into something at speed.

Smad. And I am too.

The good news is it was funded only a small fraction of millions of Americans’ 401Ks, so no one was hurt by this!

Imagine getting a $500k/y salary for 18 months for being a complete failure AFTER being fired/removed/quitting.

Yea, that comment was ... impressive. Does he not understand what cannibalizing sales are? The point is they DON’T sell more cars - they sell more of a similar (lower margin) vehicle and fewer of another to the tune of identical overall sales (or projected growth). AKA, Tesla is not bringing in demand/sales that

I thought PIT maneuvers had to get explicit approval at dispatch or some crap and were constrained to “safe” areas (aka no medians/oncoming traffic) because all of the associated HEIGHTENED risk to bystanders/police/target of even successfully completing one relative to just letting the person drive. I mean that’s

The Maverick will massacre the Santa Cruz. Even if Ford didn’t completely nuke them on paper, the Maverick is made by a historic Truck company - so it already had the benefit of the doubt for a huge percentage of the public.

For me, it’s some combination of time spent exercising, physical fitness, and pushing it. Once I was able to up my effort (longer faster runs, HIIT, etc.), I started to get some pretty solid exercise highs. The feel good chemicals combined with physical results are excellent motivators - I think the reward pathways

That’s only a level 2 system then.

The fact that the “intelligent” people defending this (in the article at least) are comparing vision only to the proof-of-concept of human driving - humans also use ears when driving. Further, that’s not the bar for an AV. An AV has to be nearly perfect, not just better, or even a lot better than a normal driver.

It’s for sure a political minefield. I’m with you - I paid mine off in ~8 years but I am lucky/grateful. People shouldn’t have to sign away a portion of their income for life to go to college. However, I’m sure there’s a vocal majority of “That’s not fair!” voters out there that would paint this as a handout. This
