Michael (with a hat tip to Larsen) — this is one of the best things I have read in the primary silly season. Thanks so much for digging into this and putting the story and timeline into such a clear and concise story.
No, because I don’t believe that issues like this are down to one employee saying something sarcastic. (Aside — I’m not letting AJ off here, because what he did was stupid, but it is equally stupid if the jury made their decision based on that comment.) They did some shady shit with their support for the Grand Rapids…
I’m genuinely trying to be helpful here when I say you’re very, very wrong. There aren’t many locales in the country that have the wealth of local options that we have here in Michigan. Pretty much every major MI craft has at least one or two 4 - 6% beers with a lighter flavor palate, as all us fucking neckbeards have…
I’m glad to hear that because I’ve felt really cynical that this would be a blip. I was just at a local spot last night that focuses their taps on local MI beers, and they still had three Founder’s taps going (though to be fair, I don’t blame a business for not selling beer they’ve already paid for, so time will tell…
They did such a good job keeping this quiet that I hadn’t even heard about it until a few weeks ago, and I’ll just say that I have a relationship of sorts with the company, though it doesn’t involve defined and regular communication. Though, that relationship maybe put blinders on me to a degree -- not needing to go…
Oh, Jim Spanfeller, eat shit!
To the entire staff and all most of the alumni since its inception — thanks, good luck, and I selfishly hope that somehow, someway, many of you can work together again very soon so that I can read one or two websites instead of 30.
The clear preference for “fruit” vs. chocolate is some real serial killer shit, Kelsey.
Please, more posts of Good Dogs.
CCR is criminally low; otherwise, while there’s plenty of quibbling that could be done with this list, I think that for the most part if you broke it into four or five tranches, it’s about right with just a few other exceptions.
Eh, Liverpool found how to break them down late on, and they did it without Salah. They've been shaky the last 4 or 5 games, no doubt, but I'm a lot more concerned about the form in the 4 games before this one than I am this game.
This sort of ball-related hijinks
Love how every time someone gets severe brain damage or dies due to their participating in combat sports, we get the equivalent of “now is not the time for politics” from the suits surrounding the sport.
My problem with this take, as a Lions fan, is that actual contenders — like, teams actually capable of winning a division and a playoff game — don’t let calls like that irreparably damage their season.
Wheaties is absolutely the correct choice for last place, but I have to admit I expected Milk and Honey Cafe Mix to take the last spot.
Thanks for the reply.
No jokes or Remembering of Guys for me this week — just a genuine thanks to Drew, and Roth, and Marchman (and everyone that’s guested in the Deadcast over the years) for keeping this podcast going. I actually get mildly irritated when you do a re-cast because I look forward to the weekly episode that much. (Please,…
Same. Paralysis by analysis. I’m glad craft brewers are doing well in large numbers, but at this point there are too many choices and it makes it really easy for me to go back to the locals that almost never make a bad beer -- my beer fridge is now usually 50% Bell’s, 25% Founder’s, and 25% misc.
Which one is Jokic’s future?
