Too slow for these types of situations. I imagine a beacon in every car that reports its speed back to a base receiver and the base automatically alerts cars driving behind a car that has dropped below some speed threshold set for that section of track.

So many accidents happen when a driver cant avoid a car stopped on a blind corner, or like this where a potentially fatal move was made because the driver had no idea another car was there. This accident would have been avoided if he had some kind of an indication that there was a car there. Even just a warning light…

We must have the technology for some kind of alert heads up display that can indicate when a car has slowed down ahead. I wonder if its time something like that became a safety feature.
