pix or it didn’t happen.

Some colleges do, many require identification. Some require a college’s ID from the college/university the library is run by, some require some college ID - in those cases, access is being limited to only those who can afford a college education.

If you think that constitutes “aggressive”, you need to find a dictionary and reassess your interpretation of the statement.

The vast majority of peer-reviewed articles are behind a paywall. Universities pay quite a bit of money to provide access to their students and faculty. I imagine most of the overhead lies in the editors. A lot of journals drop the paywall after a few years.

Why so butt-hurt, dog? Don’t you dig what that cool cat is throwin’ down? World exists in absolutes, and he’s got a main line on the absolute answer, Jack. Ain’t no use arguing, you lost before them digits clickety-clacked that keyboard. Dichotomy ain’t just a river in Egypt, skit-skat-ska-dee-bop-doo!

Agreed. Especially Netflix has a huge catalog for $8-$10 that the whole family can enjoy. Make sense if HBO’s going to charge $15 a month then they want to expand their offerings.

Well I can’t possibly refute that. Solid logic.

I think it’s a branding play. The HBO brand is very tied up in adult-themed content. I’m sure Sesame Street is just the first move in a long-term play to expand their content and in turn change the way that people see HBO as a brand.

So the show that’s all about equality and acceptance...

Something tells me Aran is going to do just fine without this internship. Actually, Facebook probably would have just held him back from his true potential.

Now playing

It would have also been a very different Shrek too

The EPA didn’t contaminate the mine, which as the linked article notes, was already contaminating the river:

Oh yeah. I remember when the EPA went back in time and built a mine that used unsafe practices to extract valuable minerals from the earth and then just abandoned it, allowing toxic byproduct from the mining process to seep slowly into the environment. Good times.

Will Gawker media commenters ever read the full article?

This was a little disappointing to me, too. However, it really isn’t as hard as you make it sound. Before, you could just go to the songs tab, scroll to the top of the songs, and tap “Shuffle all songs.” With the update, you can go to the songs tab, and just click on any song. As long as shuffle was on before, it will

I can’t tell if the new app is just designed for a different demographic, but ALL I WANT TO DO IS TO BE ABLE TO SHUFFLE ALL OF MY MUSIC AND SKIP SONGS!

Thank you, Mister Greenwald for the risks you routinely take to your personal safety to explain why privacy matters to an audience largely misunderstood as uninterested in security. Folks who do not seem interested in protecting their data security and their privacy need look no further than the recent leaks of
