I think GG has always been the studio to push the engine to its limits, but Naughty Dog is the studio that holds their internal tools team. Its called the ICE Team.

Kind of. Blizzard and Activision are the two sides of the Activision/Blizzard parent company. Both have been nearly completely separate from each other until recently.  Calling Activision the parent company isn’t correct, but is very easy to trip up on.

My 2 cents.  This is how they are going to continue funding their main platform.  The data they collect is already wildly valuable, but without Ad Rev, I’d imagine they work on fairly slim profits.  Starting a storefront could bolster their profits, and give them a more solid footing.

It was not. But there are two considerations to make: 1. You had to level gear to unlike its perks, and every node you unlocked required mats,and 2. there were only 4 planetary materials not 75 like there are in d2, so it was quite a bit more manageable.  Before you could buy them from Holiday most hardcore players…
