Well, every week Marvel puts out some comic that is only related to the movie universe. I can't see those as being too appealing to comic readers…so my guess is they are for kids just getting into the comic through the movies….

It's time for me to, again, point out that a F4 movie would work if they set it in the 1960s like First Class. It would work. They could leave and come back in the 2016s. Hell, they could even fit it into the MU easily if they sorted out the rights. I'm not a lawyer, but I'm telling you what would thematically work…..
It has nothing to do with me feeling better about myself. I stated specifics about why I believe you are posting insincerely. Perhaps I'm wrong about intention, but you certainly didn't address any of the points which make your posts appear insincere.
Also, yeah, I agree the characterization of the memo was really weird in other news outlets. I was a bit taken aback by that. It also seemed to make this a "Google" problem….
My personal take is that he focuses on gender and politics in areas where, in practice, they don't really exist.
NP.I can be too aggressive sometimes as well. And I've been all over this thread so it's hard to keep track of it all.
I've worked for over a decade creating STEM opportunities for youth and working on digital equity issues in several countries around the world (that sounds more significant than it really is, but it's what I do. lol).
Well, I've stated my position clearly and Genji still wants to argue it, so I'm not sure where he's coming from.
I support anything that science tells us is biological. I'm not an anti-science guy….My point is that no one can present me a study that states biology is a determiner for careers. I think your example of your personal biology is a good one. I think an argument can be made about physical biology, etc. However, I think…
It sounds like a Norm McDonald punchline…
They have their own entire comic now…..
The X-Men in the comics is finally good again…and they SOMEHOW managed to bring back the mutant bigotry in a pretty believable way…
I don't know that level of detail on the studio politics, but I personally think they went "all in" with the Inhumans two years ago and it fell flat across the board. The comics are them just slowly backing away from the Inhumans….I guess they were already committed to this shit.
That's cool, but how's he plan on owning Youtube (or something similar) cuz Disney will just buy that up if they really wanted to…
My generation will take Eminem and ya'll can have this guy. It's cool. Really. Have him.
Also, who said anything about it being 50/50? You seem smart enough to understand the difference between equity and equality…
I've made my position very clear. Boys and girls have different brains. Agreed. However, the differences are insignificant when it comes to choosing careers. Instead, socialization plays a far more dominant role. Hence, why Google is doing the things the author is whining about. Research- which I've linked to plenty…
I've linked to several studies here as well as provided quotes from other studies.
I've linked to several studies here. I'm still waiting for one person to produce a single study that shows that the biology of one's gender has a greater affect on a person's career choice than socialization.
Well, that's the limit of his argument to me….I really don't know Google's corporate culture well enough to judge that. If it was, somehow, unfairly liberal I can see that being annoying. Then again, I suppose it's their prerogative.
