Auckland is dreadful!! Wellington is pretty and Queenstown is amazing. I liked Taupo, next to the lake. I didn’t care for Rotorua. But NZ is not the cities. It’s the wilderness. Hiking in NZ is the best thing there is.

Patriarchy, you say? That is the very definition of every monotheistic religion. Politheistic religions are not exceptional in that regard. I don’t see anyone saying that Islam and Catholicism have a lot in common, yet they both are obsessed with patriarchy and women’s sexual practices.

I bought the luxe in gray and gray-polka-dot-on-white. They are good, wash very well. It’s a lot of money but they aren’t too expensive for the quality. I decided to get good sheets once and for all, because Target sheets, though pretty, get rough quite fast. 

I met a 12-year-old black Dachshund in the park today, that was swimming in the pond fetching sticks. He then started bringing my toys back, as well. He looked like he was 2, not 12. His human told me swimming kept the pooch young. It was amazing to see. I fell in love with that dog.

Do it! I only did two, was booked for a third but got injured (unrelated to the trip). Incredible experience. 

New Zealand is incredibly safe. I was there twice and cannot wait to go again. The people are fantastic, kind, and very helpful; the country is paradise; and there are no dangerous animals in the wild. So you can hike on your own without fear of snakes, bears, mountain lions. Nothing (in nature) can kill you.

So let’s make sure all women are the same height, the same weight, have the same waist-to-hip ratio. It’s ridiculous.
