“The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Census of Agriculture reported that, for only the second time in the past century, the number of farmers under age 35 is increasing. Sixty-nine percent of them had college degrees — a much higher rate than the general population.” (Robert Samuelson, Washington Post, 12/27/17)

When I watched The Force Awakens, I was first turned off by his voice and I dreaded having to deal with his unpleasant (to me) voice for the rest of the franchise. Then he removed the helmet and I was even more disappointed. I find absolutely nothing appealing about the guy.

I am not in academia. I did google her after I was criticized, though. Now I moved on. More power to her.

But they can’t, at least in many states they cannot. It depends on how each state protects religion. Gender is a protected class, I believe, so it could be a problem.

I got ungreyed at The Splinter at my first thoughtful comment. I have been on Jez for over a year and have no expectation that I will be ever ungreyed.

I read this article last week. Bono is completely full of shit. He can shove his ONE foundation.

These guys are complete assholes, so fuck them. But this remind me of the baker in CO. His reasons were religious (although he claims it is Freedom of Speech, but that is rubbish and we all know it). Does Shlessinger have a legal support to validate her choice of audience? It is not a Freedom-of-Speech issue. I am not

It’s legal and morally good. I am impressed, Memphis.

The OG of the OC can GTFOH.

Sydney is insane!

Oh, please, Sydney as well.

I honestly thought most people used it. I have this kind of brush in my sink and in the shower.

I want Ivanka to take the quiz, too.

Of course she does. Duh!

True. And yet...

I remember my Mom used to say, when I messed up, that it was a good thing that I apologized, that she forgave me, but that I was still punished. Forgiveness does not mean redemption. I alwaysmfound a very valuable lesson. An apology and $5 will buy a coffee at Starbucks.

Case in point, Susan Glaspell’s play Trifles. It is always a great discussion-starter on POVs and gender assumptions in undergrad classes.
