argh! this tears me apart... this car is far too weird to deserve this fate... Air-cooled flat four? FWD? Suspension Hydropneumatique? ‘70s French interior? Propane?!
1) whats the fuel economy like on the supermoto if you don’t hooligan all the time?
1. Will that Supermoto daily?
I fully realize this is a crack price, but i had to vote NP on it because it’s exactly the kind of crazy this world needs more of.
yup, I’ve done Burlington Vermont to Bath Maine and back several times just to see the ocean on a Saturday (about 600 miles round trip the route I took). I would argue that a ‘97 BMW F650 funduro is more comfortable than a Ninja 250, but yeah, this sounds like something that can be done, even if its not something I…
Harley has made things that “look” good before... until a ride review tells me otherwise, I would still rather build and ride a custom BSA chopper than drop $20K on these.
The worst car I ever owned really wasn’t that bad... it was a ‘98 Volvo V70AWD. I got screwed a bit on the purchase, as the previous owner had replaced the factory Nivomats with heavy-duty plain gas shocks, which worked fine for about six months, until they collapsed, I replaced them with real Nivos and the difference…
Shhhhhh! We don’t talk about that.
by that logic, this should be plenty...
I’m thinking a 3TNV84T is exactly the right amount of just barely enough for this application.
Yanmar 3TNV
I still want a FoRS. For Reasons.
FieSTa owner here: Its a brilliant little car, and huge fun on public roads at legal speeds, but don’t forget, its got way more up its sleeve than most owners will ever use, myself included. Its limits are attainable by mortal men, that DOES NOT mean they are low.
?
Drifting is ALMOST NEVER the fastest way around a corner... it is, however, a lot of fun. The FoRS offers this fun to people who would have previously ended up backwards in a ditch trying to have that fun. As much as the “training wheels” Drift Mode is “cheating” I’m still OK with this. Also, evidence seems to be that…
yup, like I said elsewhere, I liked my Protege LX more, but the GT was a solid, fun little car and all the Mazda bits (most of what mattered) were exceptionally reliable.
My condolences.
Yep, the shorter wheelbase made it both a bit more skittish on loose surfaces and a little more eager to change direction on pavement, and the couple hundred pound lighter weight payed dividends in both acceleration and balance (though my Protege had MUCH better tires than the GT I drove, so I can’t speak to ultimate…
