We in Vermont join in your palming of face.

Thank god these were common before cell-phone cameras... my stuck-ass would have been posted all over facebook...

maybe today, in 1991 it was considered quite quick.

and it WILL break, and when it does it will cost it’s purchase price to repair... a contour SVT in good nick is a legit ball to drive though....

That doesn’t surprise me at all, that Mazda BP and that 5 speed transaxle are just astonishingly long lasting. they break if you try to make too much power, but the materials quality is so high they wear like freaken’ diamond.

Actually, I think most of them are from people who either owned or drove one. I owned it’s brother from another mother, a Protege LX. it was a GREAT little car. Remeber, this doesn’t have the 1.9 paint shaker and the Ford Crunch-O-Matic 5 speed, it has a Mazda 1.8L BP, one of the slickest little 5-speeds you could buy

Welcome to Kinja Mobile!

My ‘89 Protege LX (with the same 1.8 BP engine and 5spd) still ran perfectly with about 375k miles on it when I sold it. If they aren’t rusty this vintage Fordzda is nearly eternal, and though I like the Mazdas better for Reasons, this is a good deal for a not-boring, highly reliable, and fairly attractive '90's

these ideas are brilliant! And they’ll never happen for the same exact reason Scion is as pointless as it is now: Profit margins.

I’m a Milwaukee guy: the 12v lithium stuff is super compact and priced attractively, but the standard batteries can’t provide enough current for even full load on the basic drill. You can solve that by buying the “extra capacity” battery, but its a big lump-pack just like the M18 pack... So just go M18 to start if you

No. you’ve missed the point entirely. The point is that you are MOST LIKELY to have a flat when there is a load in the bed. Reasons: driving in questionable locations in order to pick up said load. Extra weight causing tire damage in a situation that normally wouldn’t.

flat tire with a load of hay for the horses or a 1/2 ton of mulch for the flower beds? Oops sorry.

It’s essentially [a] better looking ATS-V with less power, because Buick and Cadillac have to play nice.

I wish my motorcycle had a larger fuel tank, stopping for gas every ~300 miles seems like unnecessarily frequent stopping to me...

I don’t blame StalePhish. Asside from dead-front view I think the 300zx (Z32) has aged extremely well. It’s profile, window lines, and waist are possibly, dare I say it, a timeless classic.

MILLIONAIRE STUFF

not just “some” lights, it comes with headlights and basic road and forward work lights. I was just checking off options to make it as expensive as possible... the kit I have checked off is the advanced LED/HID worklight kit. it’s about 15 extra fixtures.
