All my clothing (and my most recent helmet) has come from one of two local retailers (Burlington VT), both of which have excellent selections and tend to have sales that beat out even the closeout on-line sales. My helmet, alpinestars and speed and strength jackets and firstgear and tourmaster pants were all cheaper…

Local Shops. LOCAL SHOPS. The big online bike accessories sales places almost always sell clothing at a higher price than my local shop, and you can’t try it on before you buy it!

I used to only ride with a helmet and gloves, and then I was hit by a 95-year-old man in a Mercedes 450SEL and got some minor road-rash and bruising on my upper body (I also got a compound fracture of my left fore-arm) so I added an armored jacket, and then I was in stupid low-speed accident and bashed my knee pretty…

nope, i don’t think it’s in your head, those carbs are SUPER predictable... just an extreemely well sorted bike, despite the mish-mash of parts origin and German-Italian-Austian design the whole thing Just Works. I Love mine.
