As has already been shown in the comments; this is going to piss off a lot of the establishment riders out there. BRAVO! As somone who rides and can barely stand most other riders because 80% of them are mouth-breathing fucktards with a deathwish and no respect for other human beings unless they’re “EXTREME!!!!” or

As the owner of a 1997 BMW f650 Funduro I nominate it for that space... and quite frankly the small BMW GSs. They’re great multi-purpose bikes. Comfortable, handle well enough, fast enough, capable of some off-roading, durable, efficient, I mean the only other thing that might live there is the V-Strom...

ummm.... actually....

this presents like a $4000 truck, not an $8000 truck. It’s not terrible, it might even be a good candidate for a more thorough restoration, and a less-half-assed respray, but it IS crack pipe at the current asking price. Engine compartment is ugly, (overflow bottle?) seat cover is suspicious, there are dents in the

I love this one so much....

I used to work with industrial automation equipment, as a service tech actually... doing a very similar job to the guy who was crushed in Germany. Our stuff was much lighter duty, but we still had machines with 10HP servos. for those of you not in the know, a 10HP servo is nothing to fuck with.

It’s EXTREMELY variable and will change based on things including but not limited to: driving style, ambient temperatures, road conditions, pad material, rotor manufacturer (many auto makers have more than one OEM supplier), frequency of washing, etc...

one of the things that could be (and IS in some places) funded with inspection fees is...wait for it... Public Transit.

i’n’it?

SO MANY TIMES THIS.

Yup, when I worked at a shop in rural Vermont we actually had a ready to go form letter that was in addition to the “repairs declined” line on the work order that basically said:

I’m not gonna try to get all “what’s morally right or wrong” here, but I am gonna say this: Morality may be a gray area, but then there’s being an asshole. Stop being an asshole.

amen.

looks like my morning commute...

Torch, I love you like a criminally-insane-evil-super-genius younger brother, but methinks you doth protest too much. Maybe it was the wrong car for Nemo, maybe it doesn’t fit the “spirit” of the source material... but, y’know what? As a design exercise and a piece of rolling sculpture I quite like it. I think you

My thoughts Exactly

Yeah, Koenigsegg puts the “Obsessive” in OCD. The fact that they actually even build most of their own electronics is pure insanity for a car maker... except that it WORKS.

Koenigsegg is justafiably proud of thier proprietary and highly advanced stability/traction control and ABS systems.

In order to demonstrate the advanced stability control and ABS system that Koenigsegg has developed and puts in every car they make. It’s completely propretary, they even build much of the computer hardware that runs it in house, and, as shown, it works impressively well.
