Kickstarter is nothing like investing. You don’t receive any shares or profits. You get a depreciating asset, at best. Kickstarter is faith based Pre-Ordering system with a no refund policy.

I cannot fathom why anyone would give money to a Kickstarter. If I’m going to dump capital into a project I believe in, I should get a share of all future profits, not a crummy asset guaranteed to depreciate over time. Kickstarter simply separates fools from their money.
