Bud, if you want silence, just watch movies at home. When you’re in public you cannot and should not expect pin drop silence at all times, especially when you watch movies like Avengers. I’ve been tracking the number of times I’ve seen a full cheer (or any significant reaction) at movies. For me, enticing the same reaction out of everyone in the theatre when it is a sellout is a massive achievement. I can count them on one hand, and name them accordingly:
