I remember at the end of Daewoo the local dealer was doing a buy one - get one deal.

Cheap coil-overs.  Yes Racelands are dirt cheap and give you the lows, but the ride is trash and the handling isn’t any better.

Wendy’s 10 piece nugget meal.  Dump the nuggets and the fries in the bag and shake them up, tear the bag in half horizontally, eat like a horse from your greasy feed bag as you go.  Much easier in an auto, but it can be done with a manual if you are a true master.

David Tracy is a man wise beyond his years, and the fact that he has made it this far without dying from some rusty Jeep based disease makes me believe he might be unbreakable.  Happy 30th my dude!

Classic SUV had me thinking LaForza with a Jeep nose.

It’s hard to sell what you don’t have. We just put down a deposit for an ID.4 and it’s going to be 12-16 weeks before it arrives here in the PNW. None of the dealers around us have any in inventory and told us to get on the list.  We just want to get one of the early German built models before the production shifts to

MK2 VW Golf Rallye

I thought that is what Doug Demuro was for?

Comments are salty today, I actually enjoy this type of no BS review and it’s why I come here. What other automotive publication is going to use a heading like:

This is why you are a boss David! Now about these indestructible 4.0 motors...

And once they are actually available to buy, allegedly the 4th quarter this year, we plan to ditch both our TDi’s and pick up a dual motor version.

That award definitely goes to the previous generation Camry

It has been feast or famine out here in the PNW. A lot of traditional employers like Boeing have been in hiring freezes for over a year now, but all of the ag business, logistics & trucking companies, and online retailers can’t hire people fast enough.

Modern manufacturing plants rarely have stockpiles of parts sitting at each station. The components arrive when they’re needed.” Isn’t this the main reason behind the current chip shortage?  That and everyone starting to hoard them now that there is a shortage?  Trying to remember where I read this...

I feel like most of Saturns lineup before they got axed could fill these columns for weeks.

Maybe I am just special, but I was able to kill the 4.0 engine in my XJ within 10 miles after purchasing it.

If they were going to swap the engine anyway why not just drop a VR in it?  I went NP since it is a clean survivor and there is always a butt for every seat.

This is a Jeep thing I would prefer not to understand...

I wish they would do something about lifted trucks with poorly aligned headlights first.
