How is this article from 2015 at the top of the “Latest” thread?

Last one out hit the lights.

My 92 Jeep XJ is a mishmash of SAE and metric sizes for just about every other bolt on the vehicle depending on who owned Jeep when that part was designed. Since they made them from 84-01 with multiple corporate owners (AMC, Renault, & Chrysler?) you need to bring every socket and wrench with you anytime you attempt

Full doors, tan roof, air conditioning.

MK1 Cabriolet is the best place for a VR :)

It’s either a bad MAF or the dreaded biodegradable wiring harness.  One makes it worth it, the other completely totals it for me.  But for only 1k you can part that sucker out and make your money back easy.

So the world has one less HHR and MKZ?  I see this as a total win.

I represent the NJ, but WA is my adopted home for now.  Thanks!

I need to run to the store immediately and buy a lottery ticket as today is my lucky day. I finally get to share the Jeep video with people who have been asking about the time David Tracy crashed in my garage for almost a year now, and Kinja is actually letting me comment and receive notifications! David is a BOSS for

MOMR - Museum of Modern Rust

I think we should all chip in and buy this property for David Tracy to store his Jeep collection and start a museum.

Counterpoint:  Instead of using the money to buy more cars invest it into fixing up all of the ones you currently have?

Take the FC there next and then I will be impressed.

Everyone in my family hates Doug, everyone I try to get to watch his channel hates it, but honestly I can not get enough of the guy and the offroading part of the review was exceptional.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember the Lexus being squatted in WA on some bad air shocks. It’s obviously either self healed or received some automotive Viagra, so it hasn’t been completely without faults...

I would like to call dibs on one of the Touaregs if you ever decide to let one go.

I don’t know stuffing a big motor in a Cabriolet sounds like a pretty rad idea to me.

This question tears me right in half. Yes my new cars are safer, more reliable and more comfortable. However I love the feeling of getting back into a totally analog car where I can control and fix everything myself using simple diagnostics.  Love my MK1 Cabriolet and my old XJ, but I won’t be driving them cross

How does that grey color look in person?  I have it selected currently for my dual motor, but not sure if it is going to be the final choice.

What I wouldn’t give for a sub $20 oil change! I might have to take your advice and try it out on the old XJ this weekend. I have been averaging between 65 -100 bucks per oil change on my TDI’s since they require the new specific Mobil-1 dieselgate lubricants for the extended warranty. I have seen VW turn down way too
