Without collective bargaining there is no capitalism? Please, continue with the reasoning behind this laughable concept.

Sorry to hear about your dad’s SAAB. Still have the one that brought me home from the delivery in 1976. Wouldn’t dad him get rid of it if he needed to. Now, Mom’s ‘66 GTO and ‘78 TA are both long gone. Dad only kept the engine for his drag car, but that ‘76 99EMS lasted long enough as my first car in High School

Didn’t take it that way at all. I actually got a good chuckle out of your comment!

The electronic throttles are an integral part of the functionality of this system, actually.

I can guarantee you that none of us over here think we are on the level of an OEM engineering staff, Bacon. :-) We do some fun stuff though.

I thought I had fully replied to this and hit Publish, but evidently that didn’t work. First, yes it can be disabled, but we don’t disable it for competition or testing. The duty cycle could certainly have something to do with it, but we built a similar manifold for FY racing for their FA powered monster STi a few

Just sounds like that off throttle. :-)

I’d highly encourage you to go to a Pro1 FD event if there is one in your area. It’s a circus, and certainly incredibly fun to spectate. Most road racers and rallyists we know who have taken us up on that offer to check it out firsthand have had an opinion changing experience. Certainly no shame in not seeing it as

My reply below is based on two years of history on one car. Most ALS systems aren’t controlled or engineered in the way that these are. And in terms of rally cars eating turbochargers, I’d say that their turbocharger attrition is more related to restrictor usage, and while ALS may impact that, these are unrestricted

We have run the same exhaust manifold on Ryan Tuerck’s Toyota 86 for the last two years. Longevity of the manifold is not compromised. Other than turbo size changes, we have run the same turbos on Ryan’s car over the course of the last two years as well and as of yet have not had a failure of one of them. Really

Spectators seem far too well behaved for Group B.

The V12's gave every Jag engine a bad name it seems. And they were, indeed, utter fucking garbage.

True story eh? It is incredible how ripped actual scenes were from that article. I initially started reading it thinking it was a short story, definitely a true one. Those are real peoples names who are heavy hitters in the industry to these days.

Miata Owner accidentally drops tube of BB’s into intake manifold when doing timing belt. Hilarity and Shot Peened Pistons ensues:

Bullshit. There is NOTHING cooler than a nixie tube speedometer. I’m disappointed that you didn’t do Nixie’s, Torch! :-|

There are a ton of drift events in most areas. Here in the NW I literally couldn’t attend them all if I wanted to. And the proCircuit is more attainable than say, rally racing, as there is media coverage of Pro and a solid live stream for Pro2. Bottom line, despite its origins on the streets, track based drifting will

Commenter of the Week.

Ferrari won't show up to that dogfight.

You forgot Holden for use of the 3800.

Why no mention of SCCA stepping in recently with a class of Rally Sprint events?
