Ok, let me paint a better picture...the Creationists here in America, that build theme parks with Jesus riding a dinosaur, those are the individuals that I think refuse to believe we all came from Africa (really came from Africa, dark skin and all). Same people call Obama a Muslim, and think it's okay to have

nothing wrong with polka dot camouflage, as all that extra melanin was a trait that helps people with dark skin avoid skin cancer under an overbearing sun...

But they still hold onto the belief that their christian ancestors were basically white...maybe they had dark hair and beards, but white nonetheless. Like there was a pocket of magic white people in the Tigres/Euphrates Valley.

Easy. "From Beyond". I was 10 and had no business watching this movie.

Exactly, first thing that popped into my head.

All of the Creationists arguments against evolution comes down to one thing - they refuse to believe we're all African...

He has past memories of events, but he's also moving backwards through time in comparison to the rest of us. Hence River's last time seeing him was his first time seeing her. It's all very complicated and who knows to what effect that plays on the interconnections between the Doctor's different selves.

It's actually not a redesign of the Tardis, but a brand new control room. Each old control room from previous Doctors still exist within the Tardis.

Is it cold in here? (can't seem to highlight the iced man boobs)

I've always like the Jay-Z time traveler:

Not really hypocritical when you consider the years of baggage the other direction. It would be great to live in a world where skin color was truly not an issue, but we don't live in that world. So I think when you make artistic choices, no matter how benign or unrelated you think they may be, you may want to consider

On the opposite end, if I wanted them to stop having terrible dreams.

The original Star Trek pushed the bounds of middle America, with interracial kissing, characters from different countries, alien friends, etc. I think Star Trek needs to come back around to that level of exploration, without "token-ism".

This is exactly why we have to have a crazy amount of laws, because we break every nice thing that we have. Tea partiers are railing against Big Government, but until I can trust the people around me to not be stupid, write an effing law to protect some of the nice things.

I think you're right. Additionally, the film is a bit of the Hollywood package, a bit more polished and not showing the whole of events that shaped this man's transformation from Harlem Red to Malcolm X.

Well, Mothra/Battra are insects and it looks as though there were 6 feet (that we could see).
