I really think each is great in their own ways. Two greasy thin patties with some salty american cheese, is glorious. Even better with a couple slices of bacon. However, I equally enjoy a classic, meaty, mid-rare pub burger.

The only advantage to microwaved bacon is not having to deal with the grease. It’s faster, tastes better, and easier to do it in a pan.
