@matttrick: Brother P-Touch labels don't come off. Period. They're like tattoos :-) I made one 2 years ago to put inside our dishwasher (a warranty service number). It's exposed to the soap, wash and boiling hot water, has been through roughly 700 cycles, and still looks new.

@Mike Zuniga is a Photographer Apparently: I know this is an oft-debated topic here on LH, but I'll continue running XP for as long as I have machines that will run it. It's relatively lightweight (yeah, yeah, it's no *nix), fast, widely compatible and paid for. Long live XP.

Did I miss something, or has every other tech blog who reported this also report that Fring pulled Skype support due to overload? Where Giz's update so people will stop mass downloading it, wondering where the hell the Skype support went?

@somethinghead: I wouldn't say totally pointless. It does allow video chats from say iPhone 4 to 3G(S), without the use of Skype.

@Jason: just an add to my previous post. Now Fring doesn't recognize my Skype username/pass and the Fring test call won't even work.

@Jeter0204: I got the non visual impaired fring, but it's not working for me very well.

I tried it from iPhone to computer through skype...wifi on both ends. It worked for about 30 seconds, then dropped. When I reconnected, video wouldn't load and you couldn't hear what either person was saying. A great premise, but I'm not sold.
