No one beats the ridiculously encyclopedic collective knowledge of Jalopnik! You should get Comment of the Week for this and the fabricator of this car should have some kind of YouTube tribute. The quality of the assembly and the design he achieved from a huge mish-mash of parts is amazing. With a few tweaks, would be

I know a guy that knows what it is. Would you believe it started life as a 1969 Corvette? A one-off custom build.

Came here to say this - they might be good but the enthusiast market is influencing the prices. Late model Unlimiteds are listing north of $35k in my parts and they’re just not worth it. I can get a Tacoma with the same age and mileage for $5k less than that every single day. I think we all know which of those two

I’ve driven manuals in LA and Chicago traffic all my life, and I dont understand the complaint. Just let out the clutch without even touching the gas pedal. I can sit in traffic for 30 min without ever touching the gas. I always considered this the cost of admission, and a small fee.

It’s like I don’t know you at all.

This guy is going to troll hard until he feels he wins, no point in continuing your argument. He just said his 3 monitor set up with 3 $20 monitors was “smart” because at least he HAS a 3 monitor set up! And that’s how smart adults invest! Or something. I only recently started listening to Podcasts. The Smoking Tire, and Welcome to Night Vale.

They will complain that the Ranger Raptor is too big as will lots of other people.

That joke is right up there with mall crawl. yeah yeah, just because you see them in town all shiny and clean doesn’t mean they don’t get dirty...it just means you aren’t in the dirt enough to see them there.

You are totally correct. My recurring challenge driving my Tacoma off-road is fitting between things.

My car has a fridge. What of it mike.

I’m ok with snacking in the car, but eating a burger that drips sauce and fries with ketchup in the car is gross.

When people complain a show feels scripted what they really mean is that it feels wooden.

It’s the premise of the show. It’s3 guys going on an adventure, when it’s all scripted it ruins it.

I enjoy The Grand Tour, and both shows are scripted. I hope both continue. Competition = good.

*Squeezes shift knob really tight”

- I also don’t wear a watch, but respect the craftsmanship of the things and understand the enjoyment owners get from them

There’s a difference between going for the best track speeds and actually having fun daily driving.
