There are compromises that need to be made to allow the flexibility of suspension that the Jeep offers. The soft springs rates, low lateral stiffness in the suspension, and hilariously bad payload ratings (at least on the JK) dictate a low towing capacity. Frankly, I wouldn’t want to tow more than 3500 lbs with one.…
Yep. It’s BAD. And since it’s normally a total drop-off to the side, you’d have to actually build a mountain to widen the road. Or rebuild from scratch... so... yeah, no RWD around here in the winter. We have literally shut down all interstate commerce for a week before due to a crash.
There are plenty of places in the world where a 5 series would stick out like a sore thumb.
Pro tip 2: Don’t get old. Those mildly annoying hangovers at 23 become a death sentence at 33.
