Camaro concept?
Camaro concept?
Am I the only one who thinks this looks like a hideous ransom note of a car, with the chrome trim and all those vents making it look really cheap? Take those bits away and I doubt you’d be able to tell it apart from any other saloon car, especially other ones from South Korea. And, really, those performance figures…
Girl I dated in College had a late model Ws-6 Formula... God I loved that car... Her not so much... I strung that relationship on for a little longer than I should just because she hated to drive and always suggested we take her car since Her daddy paid for her gas.
The air for the radiator / engine cooling came from underneath, what went into the nostrils did feed directly into the air filter / intake. I remember we removed the baffles inside so that we could get “force fed air” at speed. LOL. We were young and didn’t realize all that would do is get more rain water in during…
I thought this style worked great for the Firebird, it looked like the front had a beak with flared nostrils, big wing on the back, very bird-ish. The Camaro’s looked like a wedge doorstop though.
So many good ones.
+1 on the Fusion, especially if you get one with the V6.
Exactly. There are better choices than the Impala, even within GM, and I know an engineer who works for Ford and he said from an engineering standpoint, the Fusion is the best car Ford has ever made.
1 of 214 built in 1997 :(
I shudder at the thought of losing my bird in a wreck. I’ve had it for 14 years now...
Normally I agree that both people share some fault, and yes the situation could have been “avoided” if the camera car simply let him in... so I guess I do agree, but considering how many things the i8 driver was doing wrong, I’d have been tempted to do the same thing (except actually let him hit me.) The i8 driver did…
I suppose in all fairness they kind of do... the front end comes from the Continental concept and the rear is just a carryover from the pre-refresh MKZ.
I looked into a WS6 many years back...really loved the styling on that as well. Finding a WS6, never mind a Formula, is super hard. Found several Camaro SS’s though.
Yeah, it’s pretty interesting physics. Believe it or not, it’s pretty analogous to rockets/missiles. There’s a reason the fins are on the back - drag. You can approximate a hypothetical point of application for the drag force (“center of pressure”) on a rocket. The bigger and further back the fins, the further back…
“Remember Honda again?”
Amazing that he almost killed a dozen innocent bystanders and can laugh it off without a care in the world.
Who brings kids to the curb at a Cars and Coffee when Mustangs are around?
Kids are generally small and want to see fast cars make the loud noises, and the people who go to C&C generally don’t give a shit about how well the kid or person behind them can see.
If those were my kids, that guy would be missing a few teeth
Saw a different angle earlier. I was disappointed to see this happened again.
