I don’t get why people do a lot of things. To each their own. I run for two reasons.

I’m a long distance runner and can happily say that I never knew this was a thing! I do drink a lot of water though, and I’ve never eaten much before a run or a work out because it just feels as though it weighs me down. I’m not discounting it, but feeling very blessed, and encouraging people to try their hand at runni

Exactly this. People die or are seriously injured because they are wearing noise cancelling headphones. It seems dramatic, but I’ve seen it often enough for it to be genuinely concerning. Whether because of some nefarious individual or because they walked in front of a moving vehicle ... it happens. And it happens

Thanks!

Haha, well can’t argue with that. Touché.

I don’t want to sound like a broken record haha, but as mentioned elsewhere, I don’t necessarily agree that they are safe on airplanes, or in the home ... etc. However, I would hope that on an airplane people around you would alert you if something was happening and you didn’t notice. And you do pay attention for the

Edited to delete this, as I realized that I already replied, but this silly comments system isn’t showing it (had a lot of issues with it lately).

My line of work may make me a bit paranoid, but anything can happen and does. I appreciate the respectful reply though! I don’t necessarily agree, but if something happened in a busy office or on an airplane, it’s a fairly safe assumption that someone would make you aware. Though, do you notice the seatbelt sign light

Well, the area of work that I’m in may make me a little paranoid. Anything can happen, and does. If I’m listening to headphones for whatever reason, I want to be able to still hear what’s going on around me, even in the house. 🙂

Thanks for the respectful reply :) Do you think they’re still safe on airplanes? I guess if something were to happen someone would get your attention. What about when the seatbelt sign comes on and beeps, you wouldn’t hear that.

Thank you for the reply, and I can respect that. However, I still feel like you’d need to hear something around you. Who knows what can happen. But, you do you 😏

I listen to podcasts on my runs, so I assume that would be fine? I’m not looking for the base tone from music LOL, I just want to hear what the podcasters are saying.

I have a humble zero tolerance for ‘noise cancelling’ headphones, and really wish they would just be cancelled. They are dangerous, and well, as you’ve indicated, not very useful in almost any situation. I try not to get on a soapbox about them LOL, but they really are one of the worst inventions IMHO. #sorrynotsorry

I’ve been very curious about bone conducting headphones. Thank you! The vibration has me a bit scared off, I guess I will just have to give them a go. I mostly listen to podcasts while I’m running. Would these really stay on your ears during a swim tho? (I feel a bit dumb but I didn’t realize there are waterproof

I agree, I cannot stand ‘noise cancelling headphones’ and I really wish they would be cancelled. You need to hear things around you, noise cancelling headphones are at best ignorant, and at worst dangerous. Anyways, off my soapbox. Thanks for the review, I’ve been pondering buying these!

I’m curious your stance on those vibrating machines. I thought they had died out (due to being ineffective?) but they seem to be making a come back as I’ve seen them around again. I see them at fairs and stuff, but I’ve never seen any posts ‘debunking’ them. I always wondered if they had any effect at all on

Was going to say basically the same thing, minus the skid mark comment.

Well, the really funny thing is that, well, we live in Canada and we considered a turf lawn for a hot minute. We were really excited about it (my damn dog loves to dig holes in our grass and well, daily maintenance be damned), until we read some reviews and realized how silly it will look in the winter when literally

Nice!

Yes, I get the cleaner look, and don’t much care. LOL. But thank you for point 2, you’re right. I didn’t think of that. Tho, I still want them gone. 😄
