Our garbage/recycling pick up is all automatic now. A big machine picks it up, and a big machine drops it off. Do I need to worry about keeping broken glass covered anymore? I still do as it’s just habit, but it seems as garbage collecting becomes much more robotic it is no longer necessary?

I really dislike baseboards. Are they necessary?

Ok, those are all actually fairly amazing and beautiful. I really was expecting the worst. I think I still love the first one, the octo-mermaid, the best though. And while I can’t say I remotely like cicadas, that one sure is stunning.

You can fight that with Airbnb. Owners have to have a very good reason to cancel, and ‘a music festival in town’ is not one. I mean, the owner could make up some bullshit, I don’t know. But if that was their excuse, you would have gotten your money back by filing a complaint and that owner would have been penalized.

Agreed! We travel with our kiddos and dogs. Maybe don’t over generalize. Your city may not regulate them, mine does. Actually, my city has embraced them and found a way to appease the residents and the airbnb’s. It is possible to live in harmony. I enjoy airbnbs immensely.
