Haha I thought this too. I definitely break more glasses than I go through a bag of sugar 😆

Our garbage/recycling pick up is all automatic now. A big machine picks it up, and a big machine drops it off. Do I need to worry about keeping broken glass covered anymore? I still do as it’s just habit, but it seems as garbage collecting becomes much more robotic it is no longer necessary?
I really dislike baseboards. Are they necessary?
Ok, those are all actually fairly amazing and beautiful. I really was expecting the worst. I think I still love the first one, the octo-mermaid, the best though. And while I can’t say I remotely like cicadas, that one sure is stunning.
Oh the other hand, I can say that I have a couple friends who are in their 50's who use this face blurring technology all the time with their online photos. And knowing them as I do IRL, their ridiculously unrealistic photos are so far fetched. Who are they trying to kid?? However, it’s really not entirely on them…
Sorry, I voted for the salute emoji. It was a toss up though between that, the ‘peek-a-boo’ or the dead battery LOL.
Oh maybe this will help my sliding windows! I was trying to clean off the grime that is basically glued to the casing under the slider window and I couldn’t get it off. Thanks!
It’s cute that on one hand you can pretend to be insightful and logistical, and in the next you’re blatantly ignorant and spiteful. So I’m out. Good luck with that tho.
I’m sorry to hear that this has been your experience. That’s certainly not positive or pleasant. And I don’t support that. Humans have an excellent way of ruining a good thing. And I appreciate that I can now see your viewpoint in the comments at least.Â
I can’t deny that I’m very picky when it comes to travelling. I will scour over every detail, every photo, and every review. So that may be why I’ve almost always had excellent experiences, who knows. The one time I didn’t have a good experience I was literally the first guest to stay there. In the same ironic token I…
Nah, I have better things to do that argue about it online. I really literally just don’t have the time to type out a bunch of educational paragraphs here. Lots of people have done it before me if you’d open your mind to read up about it. But I already have a pretty good inkling that you’ve made up your own mind and…
Oh just STAP with the ‘Airbnb is the evil villain that is the cause of the systematic housing crisis and killing the neighborhood’ nonsense.
You can fight that with Airbnb. Owners have to have a very good reason to cancel, and ‘a music festival in town’ is not one. I mean, the owner could make up some bullshit, I don’t know. But if that was their excuse, you would have gotten your money back by filing a complaint and that owner would have been penalized.
Definitely some bad experiences to be had for sure. I think you can say that for anything though. I stay in Airbnb’s regularly, and I had one experience that was really disappointing. I mean, the place was nice, but the owners were jerks. But you can say that for hotels too, I’ve stayed in hotels that weren’t very…
This is hilarious! Ok, now I know you’re just trolling. Yup, you went and had kids. Should have known better. Don’t you know that now you have to hole up in your house for 2o years and you’re not allowed to enjoy life. Shame on you for having a uterus. 😆
Again with the generalizing. We have to license our Airbnb here, and in order to be allowed to operate it we have to display it in the suite.
Agreed! We travel with our kiddos and dogs. There’s no hope in hell of finding something nice at a hotel that will accept our dogs (though I’ve noticed that hotels are starting to change that, which is good). And I have three kids. I often cannot find a hotel room that will accept 3 kids! It’s usually 2 maximum.…
I agree. I enjoy Airbnb’s so much! The personalized ones run by owners that you can tell enjoy sharing their space are really, quite lovely. I’ve never stayed at an Airbnb that I didn’t just adore. I mean, I’ve only stayed at the ones where the owner lives there also. So I can’t comment on the others. I think there…
Maybe don’t over generalize. Your city may not regulate them, mine does. Actually, my city has embraced them and found a way to appease the residents and the airbnb’s. It is possible to live in harmony. I enjoy airbnbs immensely.Â
Ugghhh, I feel this post. LOL. I’ve been a runner (almost) all my life. It’s my sanity. But the past two years I’ve had 2 injuries, and I swear it’s just the Covid energy claiming it’s victims. Last year, while running with my dogs, they went after a rabbit (not something they normally don’t while they’re attached to…
