Agreed. I have no problem hugging my close friends(especially when I drink Jameson), but for acquaintances, they get the handshake & shoulder hug. Its not a homophobic thing, it's just the level of familiarity.

During the closing scene of Avengers, the guys a few rows away were so stoked to see Darkseid. I didn't have the heart or patience to try n explain who Thanos was or the DCU vs Marvel. This will be problematic for the casual fan/moviegoer.
