So what damage could actually occur by them having this? I know in my situation, an FBI van on the street wouldn't even get the signal from my router since it's in the basement. It would be the most inefficient and suspicious way to track people ever. Your Wi-Fi pass reveals nothing important as far as I'm concerned.

I wish I could tell you! I actually used my Xbox with my computer monitor as a cost saving measure when I was going through school! My home TV needed horrible amounts of calibration, but my monitors did not, so I preferred them :)

You're absolutely right. When the first Gears came out, myself and all of my friends had to to pick up our jaws off the floor at the leap in visuals alone. It was like what Halo: Combat Evolved did for the original Xbox - knock some socks off, and set the stage of awesome for the next generation.
