True, but this proves a possible hybridization between solar and hydrogen. If there isn't a benefit of using water+ solar over just solar already, there might become one in the future when this technology develops further.

My apologies, I intended to imply the idea of water powered vehicles, not actual ones. They don't exist yet, unless you count steam powered, but the idea has been thrown around for years. I remember hearing about people trying to do them in high school!

Whenever I see water-powered vehicles, I fear for our national water supplies. Substituting gasoline with something that is required to live is probably a poor idea, even if it is an impressive feat in chemistry/engineering!

I believe it stems from the amount of "luck" versus "skill" in this situations. Certain genres tend to shy away from RNGs, which is a good thing. Fighting games and shooter games have no external element like this.
