My prius is turning 12 this year. My dad had it before it and bought it brand new.  Will likely keep it till the wheels fall off.

IFS is the best for 4wheelers and side x sides but on a fullsize truck or small suv SFA is best.  I’ve had plenty of friends with IFS play the game of try and keep the axles straight so you don’t break a CV, but they always tend to run out of suspension travel or get in a bind where a control arm gets snagged on a

If you go new, a prius battery (atleast for a gen 2 prius, 04-09) is about $1200 +/- depending where you’re at and who you get it from.  If only I didn’t have a few other issues I would consider keeping the car and swapping out the battery when it dies.

It’s the end of 2018. My wife and I (just married in November) have paid off our credit card debt, bumped up our 401k contribution amount, saved 3 months (so far and counting) of expenses (goal is for 6-9 months by end of 2019) and are not in debt from the holidays by paying cash and running a budget.  We don’t have

I got a Hot Wheels car...does that count?

Theres a reason why I’m only running 17s on my truck w/ 33" tires and 15s on my daily.  Having ridden in my dad’s 04 mini cooper S with runflats, I shall not own runflats or any sort of “low-profile” tire.  Not too concerned with performance on the street, maybe on the track.

I have a pair of needle nose that have the tips bent inward and are flattened to get under the fastener. I also have another pair that is bent inwards but the tip edge I left alone. Imagine grabbing a coin on the floor from the sides, not the top edge like a normal pair of pliers would. Both pairs are custom bent, but

On the daily I start out in the garage where its usually in the 50s-60s so I can set it on 72-74 and be on my way. But, after a long day at work where the car has been parked outside, I will crank it to max heat but only on mid-fan setting then back off the heat once I get to the highway.  In a Prius, I have noticed I

I’d watch this. Can a drift car really keep up with a nascar? Can a nascar drift well? I understand they’re two completely different cars other than being called a “mustang”.

I agree with David, but the only thing the Prius doesn’t have is stellar ground clearance or any sort of limited slip. When offroading my gen 2 Prii I can easily pick up one front tire and it just spins for days. But you can get a hitch for it to haul a bike rack and the cargo space is big enough to hold 4 peoples

This says to have your mirrors aimed to where you can just barely see the rear corner of your car...mine are like this and with trucks being wider than my car each headlight is in my mirror. If its not the vehicle behind me, its the vehicle in the next lane over thats blinding me.

I’ve had issues with the plastic tools being too flimsy, therefore they break.  But the metal tools are by far the best. strong and last a while.

9 and 3 FTW! My first vehicle was a 2001 F150, the steering wheel had only the 9 and 3 spokes so its natural to hold it there.  Then when I got into driving racecars this was optimal of course.  Now I get fustrated driving other vehicles that don’t have an ergonomic way of holding the wheel at 9 and 3.

As a gen 2 prius owner....I’d drive this everywhere. track, street, rally...etc

Needs a few more lights!

the 80s had the “swoppiest” F-series? That totally goes to the 97-03 F-series. everything else is squareish.

Isn’t it all aluminum?

I’m actually ok with that. I would get the airbag suspension, but the lowest setting is really low for those pure highway commutes where ground clearance isn’t a huge concern, but you can still lift it up to get it in the driveway.

I’d like a commuter version. long range battery, single driver seat with a passenger seat being a milk crate (unless you carpool)...etc also AKA racing version.

This is if you drive it car and get that sort of range/MPG they state. If you drive it spiritedly these numbers are greatly affected. So It could be a whole lot less miles than 130k.
