With the way everything is going right now...I’m kindof glad I didn’t buy a truck this spring and am just sticking with my old paid off truck that is my daily. only payments I have is mortgage and utilities.

I would recommend at least duck taping one of those plastic pool chairs so you don’t have to stand up. But this is my first thought as well. at least payload won’t go down too much without a body.
It would be super cool if someone made a platform that was capable of being IFS or SFA with a lot of similar components. How would this work? I have no idea. but it would be super cool to have the styling of it for those who wish to never hit dirt get the IFS, but then for those who want to get into the dirt and rocks …
I must be missing something....what’s so aweful with it? I don’t see any glaring issues with it that stick out like a sore thumb...help?
I think Harley should invite motovloggers into HQ to get their feedback. If anyone, they have the most influence among younger buyers. I believe their lineup needs to make some drastic changes to stay with other manufacturers, electric is cool, but not $30k cruiser cool.
These need to be released. I am on the fence about getting the current F-150 or possibly waiting to see what the new Bronco looks like.
Yes, they have show rooms for you to look at and sit in their vehicles. They also have computers and will help you put your order in for the vehicle, but it’s no different than you doing that on your own computer. So there’s no salespeople, finance people (not sure how exactly you finance a Tesla, I know you can do it…
I agree with most; really neat truck with good execution, but not only does it have the 4 cyl but also being a 4x2, it’s a no-go for $18k.
my dad had one. 82 or 84 toyota....pickup. Before the T100 or tacoma or tundra. just a pickup.nothing fancy but by golly did it run like a top.
Every vehicle has a removable roof with a sawzall and enough brewskis.
I am digging that white R1S. I showed it to my wife who gave approval. Since I too am up for a new vehicle we just might get the white R1S and R1T to match.
if the parking spots are perpendicular to the direction of traffic, yes, it’s ok to pull through. If the spots are angled such that if you pull out of the parking spot you’re facing the wrong direction against traffic, no, not acceptable. Do I see option B all the time? yes. drives me crazy when I driving down the…
I’m a design engineer for a company that produces class 8 trucks with a red oval on the hood. I’ve only been here 2 years but I’m out in the plant every day, even if it’s to just watch and get in the way. I suppose I can start an email to ya.
This and people randomly acting like I don’t exist by coming into my lane is why I sold my prius and am back to dailying my truck.
2020: I plan to get into a newish Ford F150 or Raptor to replace my aging ‘01 F150. Will get it outfitted with camping gear so that my wife and I can go camping every other month or so at different state parks in South Texas.
So what happens if you spin one sides tires slightly slower than the other side? i.e. 10mph fowards left side and 15 mph forwards right side.
Yup. Can confirm. Have done this twice (de-tracked) and have since learned the mistakes of doing this....don’t do it unless necessary. Quick way to fix it (without releasing the tension) is to drive both tracks forwards quickly and it will eventually pop back into place. probably not good for it but in the remote…
fitted? that doesn’t sound right..
I don’t have a preference on screens except that it’s easy to work. However in newer vehicles I like there to be a nice screen that’s easy to see, read, and go through menus. Older cars I don’t want a screen unless it’s for tuning/gauges..etc
and Tesla’s marketing budget is still $0. Just send a tweet or 2 that’ll set everyone off in a frenzy and make mad profits.
