I work for an OEM class 8 trucking company. Went out for a ride in a fairly new truck and they are not as quiet as a rolls royce. Theres a massive 13-15 liter engine in front of the cab, along with a massive radiator and clutch fan. so everything is fairly loud. Not too loud that you can’t have a conversation but you

As a SUAS (small unmanned Ariel system) AKA drone pilot, it does look like the aircraft is under 400ft (but this limit is only to be used if the drone is being used as a “hobby”...more on this later), and the aircraft is moving slowly. If the drone video is to be used other than hobby flying (like putting it up on

I’ve driven a few different mustangs all with manuals. I personally don’t go to 6th going 30 mph. RPMs aren’t as important as the ability to be able to get out of the way if you need to do an emergency maneuver. I also have found that 45 is usually a terrible speed because thats in the middle of 2 gears; too slow for

I totally missed out on the Anker deals yesterday :( That needs to happen again ASAP! :D

I agree with the entire back window roll down thing.

NEAT!

I’m thinking about my next vehicle. I think I may be more seriously in the market next year as I cannot fit it into this year’s budget. However, I have a 07 Pruis thats creaping up on 140k on the clock. Its been rock solid, oil changes, tires, and one front hub is all its needed (still on factory brakes with plenty of

For my off road vehicles regardless if its a Jeep or truck: lockers. Some have factory rear lockers, but add a front selectable locker. It does help a lot.

Now playing

In case anyone is wondering, a 10th gen, 97-03 F150 does not handle well at highway speeds like a Koenigsegg Agera R (see 2:25):

There was a dude who had his factory steelies widened to fit “a little bit wider” tire on there. Really it was only because his 1200-1500hp drivetrain would fry tires at any rate of acceleration.

Ah yes, vocational. That’s a better term, though some don’t know what that means.

Its not like its every-other truck off the line is a glider truck. Its usually the construction-site trucks that have worn out the body/chassis/axles and its easier to swap engine/trans and sometimes the rear suspension because the engine will run for several lifetimes of the truck. I don’t recall seeing any NEW long-d

We all think shes completely clueless for getting in the wrong car but....what if she “accidently” tried to get in the wrong car, found out it was unlocked and the keys were in it, BINGO! free upgrade with golf clubs. So really shes kindof brilliant, we just don’t know the rest of her life.

This is a good question. I’m not sure about the automated manual transmissions (automatic) but the manual transmissions can be pretty quick, especially if your not hauling a load. Skip a few gears every shift makes it even faster.  I’d imagine a day cab, short wheelbase, single rear axle would be fun.......and I’m off

I watched a documentary on cirque du soleil, holy crap is it complicated but its done to perfection by the best of the best.

also: It’s got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It’s a model made before catalytic converters so it’ll run good on regular gas.

No pics of Chuckle’s Garage’s ‘Ole Smokey’ driving off a cliff? bummer.

^this guy actually had the time in his busy schedule to count every single button in the interior of the 2019 honda Insightaccord.

I’m waiting for the day hybrids can average atleast 65 on pump gas, or e85 even.

I agree with this. I rode a buell once and was sold. Then found out they’re not made anymore. Then I rode a sportster and it was garage. I have tried looking for something that wouldn’t stand out too much and was confortable to sit on / ride but all the Harley’s were too expensive and had too much “crap” on it. I
