I do pretty much the same thing. especially #5. That really gets me going.

I agree. my 2007 car doesnt have these, nor have I had the need to require these.

I’ve done well thus far. Paid off most of my CC debt, got my emergency cash in an envelope, 401k bumped from 5% to 15% on my end (mostly because I switched jobs where I get paid more), and bought my girlfriend’s engagement ring. I would like to purchase a new camera as mine is about 10 yrs old, but the new one is $2k

Doug recently did a review on a ‘06 Bentley that cost about the same initially but was selling for $50k. IMO wasn’t worth 150k and still isn’t worth 50k. crazy!

Hows that main entry door feel? I didn’t design the door but I designed the tooling for them to make that door :)

I like this. We need to continue the “sleeper” stories. Ill see them post up on my news feeds every-so-often. Most recent story I saw was a ford 6.8 v10 shoved into a mustang 2. Not the engine or car I would do that to but its neat to see stuff not done before.

I would be fine with a 2ft dominos logo on my roof for a few weeks, shoot a few months would be fine too.

If you use the ejecto seato in a chopper typically the rotors will “explode” off at their mounting point so that the pilot doesn’t get chopped. quite an interesting technology.

I thought this was mainly for the jeeps that look like they go offroad as stock ones didn’t buy it for its offroading ability.

I concur with this guy!

It may be slow but my 01 F150 with the 2V 5.4 runs way too good to sell for anything else. I’ve only got 130k on it and my girlfriend’s 02 F150 w/ 4.6L has well over 260k and still going stong.

My brother had a 94 explorer in high school (~2004). He lost control in the rain and slide off into the ditch where he softly put it on its side in the mud. Didn’t completly flip but still did quite a bit of damage to total it out.

My girlfriend is now a 401k auditor and shes pretty nice. Her accountant mother on the other hand...you want to make sure you stay on her good side, otherwise you will be sorry.

I don’t really follow manufacturer recommendations... I change my regular oil every 4500-5000 miles instead of 3000, my truck with synthetic is good for 5k but ill run it almost to 10k - its lightly driven and not driven often so maybe 1-2 changes a year.

I own a gen 2 prius (gift from parents) and a 17 year old F150. The F150 has done me very well, and for a 60/40 front seat the drivers seat is very blustered on the sides and legs. The Prius on the other hand is terrible. The seats are flat and going around corners I slide all around, even without tires squeeling. I

ditto. My coleman will hold ice (and beverages/food..etc) for almost 2 days before its all liquid and its in the sun part of the day. the Rtic of the same size holds ice and everything else easily over a weekend before you need to drain it and add ice. No one likes warm beverages :)

Curious non-topic question: did you finance or pay cash for the car?

I get tons of hate when I refer to all of them as 911. They all look the same minus wings and body kits...right?....right?...

I’m with you dude. Coming from the Jeep world, everyone talks about 37s, 40s, 42s...etc not 15" wheels.
